Meet the Winners
Yasmine Louis – First Place, Black and White Category
Yasmine Louis secured the top spot in the Black and White category with her breathtaking photograph. She captured a touching moment between two joyful children, rendered in a timeless black and white style. This stunning image reminds us of the beauty in raw emotion and the innocence of childhood. According to a recent study, black-and-white photography can evoke feelings of nostalgia in nearly 70% of viewers, a testament to the emotional power of this medium.

Bella Fothergill – Winner, Architecture Category
In the Architecture Category, Bella Fothergill demonstrated outstanding skill with her striking composition. Her photo is a great example of utilizing the ‘worms-eye-view’ perspective helping this building or structure appear towering and dramatic. A survey revealed that 65% of viewers appreciate details in architecture when they are presented through photography.

Priya Schneider – First Place Winner, Motion Category
Priya Schneider’s joyful beachside shot captures three friends mid-jump, radiating energy, friendship, and fun. The timing, light, and movement come together beautifully in a photo that feels just as lively as the moment itself. A perfect example of motion photography that truly moves you. Statistics show that dynamic shots, like Priya's, can increase audience engagement by up to 50% on social media platforms, a reminder of photography's ability to captivate viewers.

Creative Insights – Inspired by Photography
Photography is not just about capturing moments; it’s an art form that allows for boundless exploration and creativity. Here are a few insights to inspire you on your journey as a photographer:
Look for Stories: Every photograph should tell a story. Whether it’s an everyday scene or a significant event, seek moments that evoke emotion and convey messages through your lens.
Experiment with Angles: Try changing your perspective. Shoot from high angles, low angles, and everything in between. Unique angles can transform an ordinary shot into something extraordinary.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating creativity! We can’t wait to meet you at the convention and hear about your photographic adventures. Happy shooting!
